Maybe stress has become part of your everyday life, leaving you exhausted and disconnected from the things that matter most. My Background and Approach
I help individuals navigate difficult seasons of life to regain a sense of peace and stability. I understand how hard it can feel to struggle through a loss, change, trauma, or transition. In therapy with me, I’ll hold space for you to sort it all out - no judgements here. I’ll be an active partner in your healing process, and help you gain new perspectives and coping skills. My therapeutic framework is trauma-informed, integrative, flexible, and grounded in science. I believe in the importance of setting collaborative goals at the start of therapy to help guide the journey, and am skilled in helping clients identify and develop therapy goals as needed. I use an integrative therapy approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and solution-focused techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value diversity and use a culturally-sensitive approach to therapy. I consider all aspects of your background and identity in my work with you. I recognize that systemic racism and other forms of discrimination can not only deeply affect mental health, but also how safe and supported someone feels in seeking help. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and am skilled at working with individuals with a wide range of identities.
