About My Clients
I work with high-achieving adults and professionals navigating high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, and difficult relationship patterns. You may look like you have it all together while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. I can help work through these stuck places so you can learn to trust yourself and enjoy the life you've worked so hard to create.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a counselor, I spent 12 years advising government and private-sector executives, giving me firsthand insight into high-pressure careers, competing responsibilities, and the expectations that can come with being highly capable and successful. I bring this perspective to my work with clients who are accustomed to working hard, taking care of others, and holding everything together. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, relational, and integrative. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Interpersonal Neurobiology. Together, we'll explore both what's happening now and the experiences that shaped how you experience the world today, your relationships, and beliefs about yourself. Rather than simply talking or managing symptoms, we'll work toward greater self-understanding, self-trust, emotional flexibility, and more fulfilling relationships. Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and paced to match your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The patterns we struggle with today make sense when we understand where they came from. Anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, over-functioning, and emotional disconnection often develop as ways of adapting to keep yourself safe and connected. Understanding these patterns can create space for new, more adaptive ways of responding and getting your needs met. I also believe therapy doesn't have to be reserved for moments when life feels unmanageable. You don't have to wait until things fall apart to seek support. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what is happening beneath the surface, develop greater self-trust and self-compassion, and have more choice in how you respond to yourself, your relationships, and your life.
