About My Clients
You may look like you’re doing well on the outside—working, managing responsibilities, showing up for others—but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, yet find themselves repeating emotional or relationship patterns they don’t fully understand or know how to change. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, family-of-origin dynamics, and major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a depth-oriented, relational approach. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, and recurring emotional patterns. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, I help clients understand what’s underneath—the experiences, relationships, attachment patterns, and beliefs that continue to shape how they feel and relate today. I draw from psychodynamic, relational, attachment-based, family systems, CBT, IFS, and emotion-focused approaches, tailoring therapy to each person. I’m engaged and collaborative in session: I’ll help you notice patterns, make connections, and gently challenge ways of thinking or relating that may be keeping you stuck. The goal is not insight for its own sake, but using that understanding to create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves without judgment. Our patterns usually developed for a reason—even the ones that eventually become painful or limiting—and I approach them with curiosity rather than shame. I value compassion, honesty, self-determination, and respect for each person’s individual values and lived experience. I don’t believe therapy is about telling you who to be or imposing my worldview on your life. My role is to help you understand yourself more deeply, clarify what matters to you, and make choices that feel authentic and meaningful. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, relationships, and belief systems. You don’t need to share my personal beliefs for us to do meaningful work together.
