About My Clients
My clients are strong, smart women who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or isolated while navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or parenting children with special needs. They may also face ADHD, chronic illness, body‑image struggles, or major life transitions. They’re ready to explore practical tools, build resilience, and have a compassionate space where they can be fully seen and understood.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a licensed LPC‑Associate. I specialize in supporting women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting children with special needs, ADHD, chronic illness, and body‑image concerns. I bring both professional training and lived experience as a parent of a child with special needs, which helps me connect deeply with clients. My approach blends DBT, CBT, humanistic/person-centered, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based techniques, tailored to each client’s unique history and needs. In session, we address heavy topics with honesty, but we also laugh a lot along the way. My primary goal is for clients to feel safe sharing what works and what they need. Together, we develop effective strategies to regulate emotions, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, collaborative space. I combine clinical expertise with lived experience, empathy, and a personalized approach that meets you where you are
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every woman is inherently strong, capable, and worthy of healing. I am an ally and make my practice a space where all clients feel fully accepted and affirmed. My work is grounded in unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuine respect for each person’s story. I am 0% judgmental — clients can bring the parts of their lives they’ve never said out loud, the experiences that still hurt to even think about, and know they’ll be met with compassion, safety, and understanding. I can hold the heaviest, darkest material while also creating room for laughter, connection, and relief. My goal is to be the person who helps clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges in a way that works for them.
