Your life looks successful from the outside, and it is in a lot of ways. But you feel burned out, anxious, and unsure whether your life is what you really want it to be. The traits that got you here are the same ones keeping you stuck. Or things look fine but still feel off, and you can't quite say why. In our work, we will go beyond targeting “symptoms” and instead, aim to help you find more fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, we will go beyond simply targeting symptoms and aim to help you find greater satisfaction in life, unlock your potential, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. Through our work together, we will explore to unearth and create meaning around how certain patterns and experiences--past or present--may be hurting you, keeping you stuck, and getting in the way of leading a richer and more fulfilling life. In therapy, we will explore the depth and complexity within you. Each therapy process is collaboratively and compassionately tailored to the unique strengths, struggles, and experiences of my clients--all with the hope and aim of creating space for you to be deeply heard and known in a way that enables you to more fully accept and know yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a woman of color, I prioritize understanding the importance of sociocultural and intersectional factors that impact my clients’ lived experiences. This means that in our work, alongside the deep work of personal introspection, we will also affirm and process the role of systemic forces in your life. Things like systemic power, privilege, and oppression affect us all, whether we are hurt or benefitted by these dynamics.
