About My Clients
My clients are tired of feeling stuck. They're men who shut down or blow up in ways they regret, people carrying grief that doesn't fit what others expect, and young women dealing with intrusive thoughts and perfectionism. What they have in common is that they want to understand what's actually going on and do something real about it. If you've been carrying something you've never said out loud, you're probably who I work well with.
My Background and Approach
I've been working with adults navigating anxiety, grief, and relationship struggles since 2018. Before private practice I spent three years at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County, counseling clients through traumatic grief, suicidal ideation, and depression, and providing crisis counseling for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. My primary approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — helping you change your relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them. I also draw on Strategic Therapy and Humanistic methods. I specialize in complicated grief including loss to suicide and overdose, helping men navigate stress and relationship strain, and working with adults and young women dealing with anxiety and intrusive thoughts. My style is direct and real. No therapy-speak, no judgment. I offer online therapy across California because finding the right therapist matters more than finding the closest one.
