Together we will create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment to explore and process those emotions so that new skills and techniques can be learned and used in your day to day life. This journey is one with ups and downs but you will not be on it alone. Together we will trust the process and explore new possibilities for life and happiness.
My Background and Approach
My specific blend of approaches differs depending on the needs of the client. The foundation of all of my practice is person centered therapy. This offers a space that is genuine, unconditionally accepting, and empathetic upon which we will figure out together what else is needed or would be helpful. When ever possible I use metaphor and creativity to express what isn't easily put into words.
