My Background and Approach
As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring over a decade of experience in primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, and mental health. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, sleep issues, and emotional dysregulation. I also provide compassionate support for sustainable weight management. My approach is trauma-informed, inclusive, and evidence-based. Clients benefit from a thoughtful mix of medication management, psychoeducation, and holistic strategies. I work with veterans, caregivers, and high-achieving professionals facing burnout. My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental—I meet you where you are and walk with you toward clarity, confidence, and lasting wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and rooted in respect for each person’s lived experience. I’m deeply committed to supporting veterans and their families, advocating for trauma-informed care, and breaking down stigma around mental illness. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and passionate about creating safe, culturally competent spaces for healing. Outside of practice, I volunteer with animal rescue and support initiatives focused on health equity, suicide prevention, and mental health education. I believe in meeting people where they are—with compassion, curiosity, and hope.
