About My Clients

I specialize in treating Anxiety and Depression using proven and research based treatments. My goals in therapy are to help you feel comfortable in my care, to realize there is hope for your life to be better again, and to motivate you to gain the courage to move forward to make healthy changes
My Background and Approach
I have 20 years of experience counseling and working with my clients on many different issues and giving them many tools to use that I have seen work over the years. I develop a treatment plan that is individually tailored to each person and their unique needs. My approach is CBT, Solution Focused and Mindfulness based to help achieve the goals that we collaboratively set together. I have worked in many arenas in private practice, online teletherapy, community counseling agency, public school based therapy, and in a college counseling center. I earned my Bachelor's in Childhood Education and 2 Master's Degrees in Mental Health Counseling and School Guidance Counseling. I am also a clinical supervisor .
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is important to find a therapist that you feel comfortable and unconditionally accepted in their presence because a positive rapport is essential to successful therapy. Everyone can change their life and learn healthier thoughts, behaviors and ways to communicate. It is achievable if you are open and willing to change.
