About My Clients
I specialize in Relationships. Some of my clients seek therapy when they realize that the discomfort / or pain they have been experiencing has taken over the fear that was preventing them from seeking relief. Individuals seek my expertise to assist with conflict resolution, finding inner peace / life purpose, clarity, or other personal goals. Controlling Relationships, Separation, Divorce, Child Custody, Narcissistic Abuse are some areas I work with extensively.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience practicing in the field of mental health and wellness. I utilize an eclectic approach in my practice, including CBT, Client-Centered, Holistic- Body-Mind and Integrative Medicine Practice. I received my Master's Degree from Adelphi University. I am also an Integrative Medicine Provider which utilizes a total wellness approach with attention to exploring possible nutritional deficiencies and lifestyle as causative factors to brain and body function.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the mind is powerful, and is capable of healing when we invest in personal growth and self-improvement. Self love abundance can help us to conquer any fear within ourselves or fears another may attempt to instill in us. I believe everyone has the right to choose their own path, and not live by another's judgment or criticism. Feeling hopeless and stuck can originate from fear. Fear is real and valid for the individual who is experiencing such immobilizing emotion, however, in the presence of empathy, understanding and sensitivity, one can begin to slowly tackle fear, and find the inner strength to move through fearful situations. I encourage my clients to engage in self care, self love and self respect.
