About My Clients
I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma (big and small) and are searching for ways to heal and become more resilient in their everyday lives. My professional experience includes many years spent working closely with clients from the LGBTQIA community as well as those experiencing complicated grief, long battles with health and mental health issues, and those who have had difficulties adjusting to life's transitions - adulting, retirement, caregiving, career changes, etc.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy involves a unique approach each time. Therapy should never be "one size fits all". I am trained in a variety of methods and will always find the approach that is best suited to your particular needs. Together we will develop a trusting dialogue; without openness we cannot understand the whole picture. Most issues have many facets. This will allow us to work together to help sort things out and ultimately develop a holistic plan that is doable and tailored to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I have always been fascinated by people and their unique origin stories. That interest drives me to continually learn and grow as a therapist to insure I am bringing the best to my clients in every session.
