About My Clients
If you are an adult (18 or over) experiencing anxiety, depression, or are struggling to adjust to life transitions or unexpected changes in your life, I will work with you to help you identify what you are feeling, and help you develop healthy, effective coping skills. You don't have to suffer in silence!
My Background and Approach
Life isn't always what we expect it to be. And while family and friends can be great supports, sometimes we need an objective person to talk to who isn't personally connected to us. That's where seeing a therapist can help; you don't have to figure it all out by yourself. I provide a comfortable, caring atmosphere where you can speak freely without fear of judgment. We'll focus on the things that are important to you. Depending upon your needs and interests, I use a variety of approaches in therapy sessions, including talk therapy, relaxation/mind-body techniques, art, creative writing, and evidence-based technology, such as cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES). Whether you have issues from the past, challenges in the present, or fear about the future, I will help you get where you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a staunch supporter of people of color, neurodivergence, and the LGBTQIA community. My view is that everyone has the right to be treated with respect, dignity, and kindness, and this is a principle I live by both in my work and my personal life.
