About My Clients
I work with those thirteen and up with a broad range of concerns including adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and more. I help people discover and express their genuine selves with pride and confidence. I guide parents on how to more effectively approach their kids to bring more positivity and joy to everyone in their home. I assist those with disordered eating and body image struggles gain peace with food and their bodies.
My Background and Approach
I realize that sharing the most intimate details of your life with a stranger can feel really vulnerable. I work to create a space in which you feel safe, accepted, connected, and supported in sharing your struggles. Having such an environment can help you gain insight about yourself, patterns of interacting with others, and how to bring about change. I am approved to practice virtually, throughout most of the US. This option makes it easy for you to get help almost anywhere and allows for continuity in your care if you move, travel for work, or are on an extended trip.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At times, I will share some personal information in order to connect with my clients. However, what I share is quite limited because I feel it is more important to follow my clients' lead and help them determine what is important and best for them in the process of therapy rather than being driven by whatever I believe.
