My Background and Approach
I have been practicing counseling since 2016 and I am trained in providing individual and group therapy to college students, adults and seniors. I provide a person-centered approach to therapy, with training rooted in Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, as well as mind/body techniques. I approach therapy with a gentle, yet direct style, incorporating humor in a way that makes clients feel at ease while also encouraging them to explore deeper feelings and insights. This unique combination not only fosters a supportive environment but also helps clients navigate their challenges with a light-hearted perspective, making the therapeutic process both engaging and effective.

As a therapist, my values center around empathy, respect, and authenticity. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where individuals can share their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
