I provide trauma-informed care to children and teens who have experienced distressing or overwhelming events. I help clients process their experiences at a pace that feels safe, while building coping skills to manage anxiety, triggers, and emotional responses. My goal is to support healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of safety.

Family conflict can feel overwhelming and exhausting for everyone involved. I work with families to improve communication, strengthen emotional understanding, and reduce patterns of blame or disconnection. My approach focuses on helping each family member feel heard while building practical tools for healthier interactions.

I specialize in supporting children who are struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, school stress, and life transitions. Using play therapy and CBT, I help children better understand their feelings, develop coping skills, and build confidence in ways that match their developmental stage.

My training as an MSW and LSW emphasized systems theory and family-centered care. I have experience working with children and caregivers in both school and clinical settings, helping families improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen emotional connection. I view challenges within the context of the family system and provide practical tools that create lasting change at home.

I have hands-on experience using play in therapy with children in clinical settings. Play allows children to express feelings they may not yet have words for. I use developmentally appropriate interventions to help children process emotions, build coping skills, and increase confidence in a way that feels safe and engaging.

I am trained in CBT and have used it extensively with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and negative self-talk. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and practice practical coping strategies they can apply in everyday life.
