About My Clients
I work best with children and teens who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck — whether that shows up as school stress, emotion dysregulation, withdrawal, or low self-confidence. Many of the young people I support struggle to put their feelings into words or feel misunderstood. I also work closely with caregivers who want practical tools and guidance to better support their child. Together, we focus on building emotional regulation, resilience, and lasting confidence.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW), I have specialized training in child and adolescent therapy, trauma-informed care, CBT, and play therapy. My experience in both school-based and clinical settings allows me to understand the academic, social, and emotional challenges young people face. I use evidence-based approaches to provide practical tools that help children and teens build resilience, regulate emotions, and feel more confident in daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and valued for who they are. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, and I strive to create an inclusive space where children and families of all backgrounds feel welcome. I value equity, compassion, and advocacy, and I’m committed to supporting young people as they develop confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience. I believe healing happens in relationships built on trust, respect, and authenticity.
