About My Clients
Do you or a loved one experience and express emotions differently from others? Hyper-focus on interests in a way that allows for a state of ‘flow,’ but pulls from responsibilities and loved ones? Take in more sensory information than others and sometimes get overloaded by it? Has anyone ever suggested that you or they might be Autistic or have ADHD? While there are many strengths to Autism and ADHD, there can be difficulties due to living a world that is not accommodating of various neurotypes.
My Background and Approach
If this description sounds familiar, I’d love to help you and/or your loved one explore Autistic and ADHD traits and patterns to gain a fuller understanding of your experiences and of the impacts these traits can have on relationships, work, and life in general. As a Licensed Counselor and Art Therapist, I take a person-centered approach and utilize motivational interviewing. I believe that each person is the ultimate expert in their own life. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I strongly believe that each person has numerous strengths on which to build, and I do not try to 'fix' people. I meet clients where they are and empower them to take steps toward thriving. I provide space and support for clients to grow and flourish, even in the midst of difficulty or uncertainty.
