About My Clients
I offer a safe space and personalized approach to help individuals move through blocks, gain insights, learn skills to calm the mind and body, and grow through their struggles. Human experience is rich and diverse , and change is often difficult, but you don't have to go through it alone! You and your experiences matter, and I look forward to helping you discover your authentic journey and strengths.
My Background and Approach
As a graduate of the University of Chicago's School of Social Work, and former monastic nun-in-training, I bring over 20 years of combined work experience in mental health, creativity, and spirituality. Trained in multiple modalities, including emotionally-focused, psychodynamic, cognitive- and somatic-based therapeutic interventions, I offer an attuned presence to help people heal from the impact of trauma and attachment-related challenges. My clinical interests also include loss and grief, identity/life stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all have the capacity to heal and grow by understanding our experiences in a safe, and non-stigmatizing relational space. I strive to offer culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to healing that honors the individual's authentic needs, goals and experiences.
