About My Clients
I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Since beginning my practice in 2017, I've supported clients through a wide range of emotional, relational, and life-transition concerns. Whether you're coping with anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship issues, or major life changes, I'm here to offer a supportive space where you can be heard, understood, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York with a Master of Social Work from CUNY – College of Staten Island, practicing clinically since 2017 across community mental health, early-intervention services, and private practice settings. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and deeply collaborative. I believe every person has innate resilience, and my role is to help you access that strength while providing practical tools, emotional support, and evidence-based strategies. My training includes trauma-informed care, CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions, and I also draw on Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, the Gottman Method, and culturally sensitive practice. Together, we'll work to manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and promote meaningful, sustainable healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I approach therapy with cultural humility, recognizing that each person's background, traditions, and family values deeply shape who they are. I strive to understand your lived experience within the context of your culture, community, and belief systems, and I respect the ways these influence your perspectives and choices. I work thoughtfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds, honoring the importance of identity, heritage, and generational patterns in the healing process. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood, so we can work together in a way that aligns with your values and supports your growth.
