About My Clients

I support adolescents and adults. I have specialties in working with specific populations, including but not limited to families, parents, immigrants, BIPOC educators, and identity-exploring individuals navigating stress, burnout, or intergenerational trauma. My clients value storytelling, culture, and community in their healing journey. Whether you're seeking clarity, balance, or deeper connection, I offer a space rooted in care, cultural humility, and resilience.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Professional School Counselor with years of experience in both education and clinical mental health. As a first-generation Filipino immigrant, I integrate multicultural perspectives, storytelling, and the Indigenous concept of Kapwa—our shared identity and interconnectedness—into my work. Trained as a National SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) leader, I’ve led equity teams, facilitated circles, and guided professional development on cultural humility, mental health, and systemic change. My approach is relational, reflective, and grounded in community wisdom. Whether working one-on-one or with groups, I hold space for clients to reclaim well-being, deepen self-awareness, and move toward personal and collective healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is not a solo journey—it happens in community, through connection, and by honoring the wisdom we carry. As a counselor, I see each person as inherently worthy, whole, and resilient, even in the midst of struggle. I believe in breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma and uplifting voices often marginalized in dominant systems. Wellness includes our stories, our roots, and our relationships. My work is grounded in Kapwa—the Filipino concept of shared identity—and in the belief that culturally responsive care is a pathway to liberation, not just coping. I am committed to holding space that honors your complexity, celebrates your culture, and helps you thrive in alignment with your values.
