About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who seek support with anxiety, self-esteem, relationship difficulties and concerns about sex and intimacy. My clients want to understand familiar patterns, navigate life changes and develop a clearer sense of themselves. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients, immigrants, people from multicultural backgrounds, and neurodivergent and gifted adults. Together, we connect thoughtful exploration with practical steps towards meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland, based in Rockville since 2020. I offer online sessions through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is central to my work. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Existential Therapy. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions and offer an honest perspective. Together, we connect deeper understanding with clear goals and practical steps towards meaningful change. My training includes Sex Therapy Comprehensive Training at the Buehler Institute. Individual sessions are $150; the initial assessment is $160. Sex therapy is $150 and couples sessions are $175. Insurance applies to eligible individual psychotherapy; sex and couples therapy are private pay.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we understand another person through close attention and respect for how they make sense of their life. Culture, faith, sexuality and relationships influence who we are and who we hope to become. I approach these experiences with curiosity, care and room for uncertainty. I value honesty, compassion and freedom of thought. For me, growth means we understand what has shaped us and recognise our choices in the present. Therapy offers space to question familiar assumptions, deepen self-understanding and move towards a life that feels meaningful.
