About My Clients
Are you wondering where you are going in life, how to make decisions that will feel genuine, and why certain roadblocks to a happy life happen again and again? I enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions and looking to live fuller, more meaningful lives. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and identity issues. I also provide trauma-informed care to my clients.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered and collaborative and I believe that my role is in supporting you on your unique path towards your full potential. I utilize tools from evidence-based practices such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing and also invoke creative/intuitive processes that help bypass your analytical thinking and connect you to your subconscious. Whether you are looking to just talk or have a concrete goal in mind for therapy we will work together to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for your growth. I earned my B.S in Neuroscience from Amherst College and received my Masters in Social Work from the Wurtzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. I come to the career of psychotherapy later in life and I believe this gives me a unique and valuable perspective as a therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that connection and community are central to our sense of well-being and that therapy can be a part of our support system. I approach my work with a sense of curiosity, humility and a lifelong passion for learning. I am honored to be in a profession that allows me to be a part of someone’s journey towards creating their most fulfilled and happy life.
