About My Clients
Do you feel stuck in your life? Fear, sadness, guilt, and worry can can sometimes feel like they have taken over and life is passing you by. I am passionate about helping my clients get unstuck and back to living their lives with meaning, purpose, and joy. I work individually with adults of all ages to help them overcome avoidance, gain new perspectives, and develop specific skills to address anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors, and relationship difficulties.
My Background and Approach
I have a flexible and compassionate approach that is informed by research and evidence-based principles, but also honors your unique, individual needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work and am currently offering therapy online via video. I deeply value cultural and individual diversity and am LGBTQ+ affirming with a focus on helping all of my clients meet their personal goals in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are doing the best that they can. I also believe that people can always do better. Holding these two truths at the same time allows me to meet my clients while they are at without judgment, while also supporting them in learning new skills, making positive changes, and achieving their goals.
