About My Clients
Exhausted, overwhelmed, depressed? Do you feel like life isn’t turning out as you planned? Do you find yourself feeling depressed, anxious, or lost…. Have you ever felt like you just want to lock yourself into the bathroom and cry? From the young adult navigating career demands, to the new mom, to the experienced mom that that is burnout, women have unique needs and demands put upon them. I am here to create a space for you to process the challenges you are facing to find balance and peace.
My Background and Approach
I started Haven Counseling to create a comfortable and safe space for women to process and be heard with both the flexibility and focus to meet your unique individual needs. My passion is getting to know who you are, understanding your feelings and situation, and walking with you to help cope with the challenges life is throwing your way. I strive to be real and compassionate with every individual whom I work with. I have a Masters in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration from University of Nebraska - Omaha. I have over 10 years experience working with adults going through a variety of life transitions and have received years of supervision and mentoring under a Licensed Psychologist. I am EMDR trained and am currently in training with Postpartum Support International. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa.
