About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with young adults and people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. I also have a strong interest in attachment patterns, identity exploration, and culturally responsive care. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel understood, supported, and able to grow at their own pace.
My Background and Approach
I am a mental health counselor with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. My clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive, with a focus on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and free from judgment. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and lived experience. I have a strong interest in attachment patterns and how early experiences can shape current relationships, emotional responses, and self-perception. In practice, I help clients slow down, make sense of what they’re feeling, and identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we work on building practical coping tools, increasing emotional insight, and improving relationships with others and with themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I approach therapy from a values-driven perspective rooted in empathy, accessibility, and cultural responsiveness. I believe that everyone deserves access to mental health support that feels safe, respectful, and attuned to their lived experience, regardless of background or financial circumstances. I am especially passionate about reducing stigma around therapy and supporting people who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about where to begin. In my work, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and not judged, and where they can explore their experiences at their own pace. I also value honoring identity, culture, and the broader systems that impact mental health, including family dynamics, relationships, and life transitions. I aim to hold space for the complexity of people’s experiences while helping them build self-understanding and emotional resilience.
