About My Clients
I am currently accepting adults, adolescents, preteens and families who are seeking counseling for the following, depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, abuse, depression, parenting challenges, behavioral issues and life management of everyday stressors. I believe in helping the client in their current life journey through setting measurable and attainable goals with the client. I focus on teaching coping skills to assist with managing challenging situations.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia and a Board-Certified National Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health with a Specialty in Trauma from Walden University. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, parents, single mothers and adults providing individual, groups and family counseling. I have worked with Cobb County Schools as a community therapist. Worked with Oakhill Behavioral Health Center as a therapist; and have also worked for the Fulton County Behavioral Court as a team lead clinical therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a strong believer that collaborative work produces positive change. I believe in a person-centered approach, CBT and TF-CBT therapies and is committed to helping people make the necessary changes to cope with day-to-day life challenges. I believe in helping the client in their current life journey through setting measurable and attainable goals with the client. I enjoy teaching coping skills to address challenging situations.
