About My Clients
I help people with anxiety and stress change their perspective in ways that reduce their anxiety and stress. I teach coping and relaxation skills. I can help you make small behavioral changes to reduce anxiety and stress. I help clients identify and meet their goals. If you’re in a relationship and aren’t getting along, I can teach you better ways to communicate so you can be the team you know you can be. I can help you find ways to cooperate to meet both of your needs.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals and couples. I have experience with adolescents and adults. I received my Master’s degree in Counselor’s Education from Duquesne University and my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marymount University. I have additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and Hypnotherapy. I use the Gottman Assessment for couples. CBT can help you discover the thoughts that are triggering anxiety and stress. It can also help you make small changes in behavior to reduce anxiety and stress. Hypnotherapy helps you reach a relaxed and focused state that can help you change subconscious beliefs that keep you from making changes. It can also help you change behaviors and break unhealthy habits.
