About My Clients
You can expect a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, connection, and honesty. I will meet you where you are, help you navigate the challenges of divorce, co-parenting, and grief, and support you in making sense of your emotions. Together, we will explore patterns, build healthy coping skills, and discover ways to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist specializing in divorce, co-parenting, and grief, I understand that life transitions can bring uncertainty, emotional pain, and unexpected challenges. Having moved to the United States from Germany, I understand what it feels like to adjust to change, rediscover purpose, and find your place in a new chapter of life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins with trust, warmth, and genuine connection. I will meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you explore your emotions, recognize unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, resilience, and confidence as you navigate life's challenges. My goal is to help you feel understood and empowered to move forward, even when the path ahead feels uncertain. You don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has the ability to grow, heal, and find meaning, even during life’s most difficult moments. Therapy is not about having all the answers or being perfect; it is about creating a safe space where you can be honest, feel understood, and discover your own strengths. I believe that change begins with connection, compassion, and the willingness to look at ourselves with curiosity rather than judgment. Life transitions such as divorce, co-parenting challenges, and grief can change how we see ourselves and our future. I believe that even when life doesn’t turn out the way we expected, we can learn to navigate uncertainty, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create new possibilities for ourselves. My hope is to walk alongside you as you find your voice, rebuild your confidence, and discover a path forward that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
