About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I utilize an integrative approach. This allows me to tailor treatment to fit the needs of clients. I create a safe space for clients to work through a variety of personal and relational challenges. I help couples and families work through conflict, find their way back to the emotional closeness they are longing for and regain or find a new sense of safety and trust that creates secure bonds in relationships. I have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) to assist clients in making space for all of their parts, their emotions and befriending their inner world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans have the capacity to heal and change. I believe that we all have experiences that impact the trajectory of our lives, making it necessary to develop coping strategies to deal with those experiences, and at times make it necessary to disconnect from our inner worlds. These experiences create blueprints for how we move through the world and at times make us feel stuck, disconnected, anxious and depressed. I believe that change happens through experience in a relationship, and therefore the relationship and fit between you and I is key. I strive to make this relationship safe, to create the space to explore and befriend your inner world and reconnect. I invite your to reach out I and see if we are a good fit together.
