About My Clients
I identify as an anti-diet therapist who utilizes intuitive eating principles to guide my practice. I believe that the foundation to healing is self esteem, food freedom, and body positivity. I am a HAES advocate and identify as a fat positive therapist. I have experience with anorexia, binge eating disorder, and bulimia. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to deconstruct and reframe negative thinking patterns.
My Background and Approach
Although eating disorders are my passion, I also have experience with children and adolescents, I have worked with many clients on parenting and behavioral issues. I am also in the army National Guard as well as a spouse of someone in the national guard. I understand veterans issues as well as the family issues that veteran families deal with.
