About My Clients
I work with clients ranging in age from adolescence (12+) to senior adults, and I have experience working with both individuals and couples. Specifically, I love working with clients who are in a transitional period in life, whether that's the beginning or end of a relationship, a traumatic loss, or beginning a new job. I also enjoy working on issues of self esteem and boundaries.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed intern in Florida, RMHI23055, under the supervision of Emily Dungey, MH20338 and Amy Ellis, MH6475. I have training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma informed therapy. Areas of focus for me that appear consistently in practice are symptom management for anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, attachment work, assertiveness training, and low self esteem. I am direct in the sense that I call it as I see it, but I also believe that my clients are the ultimate authorities on their lived experience and the agents of real change in their lives. Therapy is difficult work, but I am committed to helping my clients feel secure and heard from the very first contact to our last.
