About My Clients
Before earning my master’s degree, I, worked for various human services organizations as a family support specialist, case worker, and in-home counselor. I currently work as a therapist full time and has does some on call work for a crisis center in Portland Oregon. I have also worked with Marion County Youth Suicide Prevention Units for a short period of time.I have worked with multiple victims of sexual abuse of all ages, genders, nationalities, and backgrounds.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy using modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (Couples) and Person-Centered Therapy. I work to incorporate a whole mind/body healing approach in her therapeutic interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my relationships with all of my clients I strive to build on ideas of kindness, equality, safety, trust, empathy and always a client centered approach. I like to incorporate in my therapeutic interventions a whole mind/body healing approach.
