About My Clients

You’re an achiever who’s always done what’s expected, and tried what feels like everything, yet it still feels like something is missing, and aren't sure what's next. You may be a parent seeking support for your child through play therapy, or looking for someone someone to help yourself unpack your anxiety, grief, or trauma. You don’t have all the answers, but you’re curious, reflective, and ready to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

In our work together, we will move toward healing and growth at a pace that feels respectful and steady. Therapy isn’t always easy, but you won’t be alone in it. I bring a calm, grounded presence while honoring your lead in the process. Alongside practical tools and coping strategies, we’ll also explore the deeper patterns and beliefs that shape how you think, feel, and relate. With adults, sessions focus on what feels most present each week, allowing meaningful themes and insights to emerge over time. With children, I offer focused attunement and connection through play therapy, creating a space where feelings can be expressed without words. Through play, children gain a sense of agency, understanding, and emotional safety as they learn to make sense of their world. My approach is relational, insight-oriented, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique story and bodily experience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe psychotherapy opens a door to understanding the conscious and unconscious forces that shape our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I believe our patterns and defenses once helped us survive, and healing begins when we understand them with compassion rather than judgment. Therapy is not about fixing who you are, because you are not broken! It about being honest with yourself to explore the parts of yourself that you show the world, as well as the parts that you keep hidden, with curiosity and care. It's about learning to live more fully and freely as yourself. Real change is often quiet and steady, built through insight, connection, and the courage to face what feels difficult. I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to be real, and supported enough to keep going.
