About My Clients
I work with adults navigating grief, loss, and complicated family relationships. Maybe you're mourning someone you've lost, grieving a relationship that has changed, or struggling with family estrangement. You may be facing divorce, caregiving responsibilities, or a life transition that has left you feeling uncertain. Sometimes grief comes from what we've lost, and sometimes from what we hoped life or our relationships would be. Whatever brings you here, there's space to explore it together.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a particular focus on grief, loss, and complex family dynamics. My work is grounded in a relational, psychodynamic, and person-centered approach that emphasizes understanding each person's unique experiences. I believe healing happens when we have space to understand our experiences rather than rush past them. In our work together, we'll explore how your relationships, personal history, and experiences have shaped the way you see yourself and connect with others. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely understood. Whether you're processing a significant loss, navigating family conflict, or making sense of a difficult transition, my goal is to help you develop greater clarity, reconnect with yourself, and find a way forward that honors your experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. I consider myself a heart-centered therapist, someone who leads with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the human experience. I believe there is tremendous value in slowing down, listening deeply, and making space for the parts of ourselves that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Life can be complicated, relationships can be painful, and grief doesn't always have a clear beginning or end. I believe we all deserve kindness and understanding as we navigate these experiences. Above all, I value authenticity, meaningful connection, and meeting people exactly where they are. I believe that even in life's most difficult moments, there is room for connection, growth, and hope.
