About My Clients
I provide psychiatric services to adults. Many of my patients are younger adults with non-traditional backgrounds. My approach is culturally sensitive, taking full account of the impact of environmental and social factors on mental heath.
My Background and Approach
I have had focused training in various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I utilize such therapeutic approaches in medication management appointments as well as dedicated therapy sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Psychiatry is an art as well as a science. To be effective, it requires a relationship between patient and provider founded on trust and mutual understanding. My goal is to build long-lasting relationships to get your mental health as good as it can be. To that aim, my practice offers a culturally sensitive environment with no-rush appointments that emphasize patient education.
