She earned her degrees from Tarleton State University, Central Texas College, the University of Texas at Arlington, and Eastern Kentucky University. Throughout her career, Anjie has worked in a variety of settings, where she observed the detrimental effects of limited mental health services, particularly in rural communities. This observation, combined with her authentic desire to care for others, propelled her to pursue advanced education in order to advocate for vulnerable individuals and populations.
