About My Clients
My ideal therapy client is someone who may feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges but is still willing to take that first step toward healing. They may be navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, or relationship struggles—and even if they’re unsure of what exactly they need, they know they don’t want to carry it alone anymore. I work best with individuals who are open to self-reflection, even if it’s uncomfortable at first. My ideal client is not expected to have it all figured out.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, I’ll equip you with practical, evidence-based tools drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—tools I’ve refined over the course of my career helping people manage and overcome anxiety. My goal is for you to walk away with at least five effective techniques you can use anytime, anywhere—whether you're at work, in transit, or lying awake at night. These are discreet, powerful strategies designed to help you regain control in the moment. I take a direct, solution-focused approach. We’ll start by addressing what’s happening right now—those anxiety attacks that seem to come out of nowhere and interrupt your day. Together, we’ll work to calm both your body and your thoughts in real-time, giving you a greater sense of safety and control.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change and growth are always possible—no matter where you are in your journey or what you’ve been through. There is no limit to the human capacity for healing, especially when given the right support, tools, and space to be seen and heard. In my work, I don’t see people as broken or defined by their struggles. I see patterns—often ones we’ve learned in response to pain, fear, or survival. Many of the mental health challenges we face are rooted in behaviors or beliefs that once served a purpose, but no longer help us thrive. The good news is that what’s been learned can be unlearned—and replaced with healthier, more supportive ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world. Together, we’ll explore those patterns with compassion and curiosity, not judgment. We’ll work to gently untangle what’s no longer serving you and build new pathways rooted in self-awareness, strength, and choice.
