About My Clients
You don’t really feel close to anyone or like anyone really knows you...not even your family. You crave a genuine connection but you keep your guard up because of bad experiences in the past. You feel taken advantage of by your family. Despite being “successful” in your career and having it “together”, you silently struggle with anxiety. You never feel sure and are always second guessing yourself despite others praise. You fear it will always be this way.
My Background and Approach
In my session, I incorporate cognitive behavior therapy as well as solution focused therapy to help my clients feel empowered in identifying strengths and work through emotional barriers. I am able to help my clients move from a place of feeling stuck in making a decision about your life to a place of certainty that feels good for them. As a marriage and family therapist, I work with families going through difficult times, conflict, trauma, and with my experience, I am able to move them through a journey of conflict and uncertainty, to a place of resolve in forming healthy relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have always been drawn to helping people, and the people in my life would confide in me with whatever they were going through because they perceived me as a great listener and that I care deeply about them. I find it very rewarding to help others navigate their life and gain new perspectives.
