About My Clients
I specialize in helping people cope with major life stressors, and even minor life stressors. Adjustment on any level can be really hard. I’m also deeply familiar with the polyamory community and the kink community, very familiar with the swingers' community and similar alternative lifestyle communities, and I’m an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have expertise in grief and loss, including pet loss, and helping survivors of narcissistic abuse and gaslighting from family issues.
My Background and Approach
In my work, I focus on building trust and rapport with my clients, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their challenges and goals. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on individual needs and promoting self-empowerment. I have been licensed as a clinical social worker in California for almost 20 years and in Arizona and Nevada for the last several years. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in Psychology from Cal State San Marcos. I accept a variety of insurances as well as private pay clients and I’d love to be able to work with you! Please note that if my schedule appears to be full, I encourage you to reach out to me directly. While technology is a great tool, it's not always accurate. I'm committed to finding a time that works for both of us.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe this world would be a better place if everyone could let go of judgment. I have a passion to help people become the best versions of themselves, whatever that means to them. I think so often we find ourselves walking through life at 85 percent — 85 percent happy, 85 percent fulfilled, 85 percent peaceful. I’d like to raise that to 100 percent! There may be more to life than we realize.
