About My Clients
I work with adults of all ages, with a primary focus on older adults and their caregivers. Many of my clients are navigating depression, anxiety, chronic illness, or major life transitions. I create a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive space to explore your challenges and strengths, offering therapy in both English and Spanish. My goal is to help clients develop practical strategies, emotional resilience, and renewed hope for the future.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree and extensive experience working with older adults and families. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques, assertive communication skills, and psychoeducation to help clients improve coping skills and emotional regulation. I also use guided imagery, meditation, and time-out interventions to address stress and promote a sense of calm and well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity to create positive change, no matter their stage in life. My role is to listen without judgment, honor your lived experience, and provide tools that help you cope, heal, and grow. Therapy is a partnership, and together we can work toward solutions that fit your values, strengths, and goals.
