My Background and Approach
My approach is deeply compassionate and comes from the belief that acceptance can bring forward change. I am trained in a holistic way to work both with couples and individuals. Additionally, post graduation from a holistic program, I have training in the Hakomi method, a body centered psychotherapy. I also trained in Brainspotting, as well as in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma. Experience in working with grief and loss at Hospice informs my understanding of the work with loss of all kinds. My multifaceted approach to treatment is based on this wide variety of trainings and experience. Born and raised in Europe, my unique personal history also adds to my understandings and capacities as a therapist and counselor.
