About My Clients
It can feel scary to take the first step and reach out for help, but it doesn't have to be. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, or other mental health concerns and need help figuring it out, you are not alone. We can have a safe therapeutic environment to explore, heal and grow that is free from judgment, shame and fear. I believe everyone deserves to be happy, and together, we can work towards the change that you want.
My Background and Approach
I am currently in my final year at Arizona State University Master of Social Work (MSW) program and will be graduating in August 2023. I have a Master of Science in Psychology from University of Oregon. I have over 6 years of experience in the mental health field, working with adults from diverse backgrounds and with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, family systems, and difficulty with work/life balance. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and will work with you collaboratively to find what works best for you and your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up in a conservative culture, so I have experienced the heavy stigmatization of seeking therapy and mental health services and feeling overwhelmed. It can be difficult to navigate values and beliefs and cultural norms and expectations. It can feel like you are lost, alone, and frustrated with no one to share what you are thinking and how you are feeling. My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to discuss your challenges and collaboratively work with you in your therapeutic journey so you can live the life you desire.
