My Background and Approach
My continuous work in mental health; outpatient programs, community centers and private practice has provided me an opportunity to learn and facilitate psycho-educational , stress -management , coping skills , meditation groups . Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Music and Art Therapy with over 30 modalities and techniques . I have extensive amount of knowledge and experience in working with children with Autism, their siblings and the families . I have provided group therapy sessions for survivors of domestic violence . Working through trauma, relearning , letting go , empowering, healing . My approach is to meet client where they are at , to offer and hold a safe space , respecting the time and effort necessary for the healing to commence.
