About My Clients
A highlight of my experience is with individuals and families who are systems-impacted (ie. criminal justice & child welfare, substance abuse. Client's who are experiencing relationship problems at work and personal relationships. Clients who have a history experiencing life challenges and feel hopeless not being able to create solutions to their problems. Clients who are going through the substance abuse recovery and clients who are experiencing grief and loss.
My Background and Approach
As a marriage & family therapist, I hope to be that catalyst of support to help you release whatever is keeping you from your personal growth. The therapy journey we begin together will be like tending to your garden. Like preparing your soil to establish new roots, our journey will assist in strengthening the relationships you are involved in; whether they are professional, dating, or family, we can always work towards watering the seeds of our relationships so they can blossom and not wilt. We do that by identifying solutions, identifying noble intentions to the most challenging situations, and exploring your inner strengths so we can create a healthier narrative of your experience and promote long-lasting change in yourself and the relationships you are involved in.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Just like roses, our life changes as time goes on & seasons shift. There are times when life can be debilitating and overwhelming such as when you stub yourself with a thorn or when rose petals start falling off after being exposed to unfavorable weather conditions. These life transitions and adjustments can lead to uncharacteristic ways of working through life’s challenges and have secondary effects on our relationships, social responsibilities, and overall, make life harder. Let’s work together in creating a non-judgmental space where we can collaborate to explore new mindful strategies to help heal your spirit, mind, and emotional response to the demands of life changes and prepare for future situations.
