About My Clients
People seek therapy for so many reasons, but mostly we all want to feel loved, safe and understood. I work hand in hand with each person. I help create a safe space which allows you to be able to talk about the really hard topics and not feel extremely overwhelmed. I like to incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy with person-centered approach so you can be your most genuine self in a safe no judgement zone.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy working with individuals & couples who embody a strong curiosity & commitment to learning how to heal their hearts, minds, spirits and to feel genuine connection to themselves and others. I like sessions to flow in a conversation between patient and therapist. I provide feedback and guide you to organize your thoughts so that together we can find solutions and coping skills to help alleviate your stressors, struggles, and past traumas.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we heal in relationship with others, including our own unique and sacred relationship with our therapist. I am committed to helping my patients feel less alone and to accessing a greater awareness and connection to their personal self. I believe wholeheartedly in everyone’s capacity to love, heal, and thrive - yes, even you. I aim to provide a safe and connected environment for my patients to explore what gives their lives meaning, value, & purpose. My approach is warm, direct, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I invite all big feelings, rigorous curiosity, self-compassion. I am equally interested in what causes you pain as I am in what makes you laugh. Your strengths and abilities to feel and heal hold the same weight as your beautiful darkness, fears, and confusion. I myself am forever learner.
