About My Clients
If you're struggling with things that have happened in your past, we can work together to help you heal and live the life you want. I specialize in treating complex trauma, PTSD, and Chronic pain.
My Background and Approach
I am a fully licensed social worker and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that allows clients to briefly focus on a memory to reduce distress and symptoms. EMDR has been extensively researched and has positive outcomes for those experiencing PTSD, OCD, Chronic Pain, addictions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I strive to create an atmosphere of safety, validation, trust, and to connect authentically with my clients. I believe in empowering my clients to learn the tools to make sustainable changes in their life. In your sessions, you can expect to better understand how your thoughts and feelings impact you, and how your experiences have shaped you as a person. I believe in working alongside my clients in their journey of healing. I recognize clients know themselves best and I strive to bring that into session. We will work at a pace that you are comfortable with, and at times, lean into uncomfortable things.

I understand that systems in our culture can greatly impact your mental health. I am committed to advocating for systemic change while helping you navigate and cope with those systemic issues that cause trauma every day.
