About My Clients

) If you've been the strong one for everyone else and you're quietly running on empty, I see you. Maybe you've done some healing work already and you can feel there's more underneath, something your body has been holding for a long time. You don't need to have the words for it yet. You just need a space where you don't have to translate yourself, perform wellness, or shrink to be understood. If that sounds like the kind of softness you're craving, we'd probably work really well together.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I've spent years sitting with folx through some of the hardest, tenderest, most quietly transformative seasons of their lives. Anxiety, depression, trauma, identity questions, grief, burnout, the kind of transitions that rearrange everything you thought you knew about yourself. My training is in somatic, holistic, and trauma-informed care, which is a long way of saying I don't just want to talk about what hurts, I want to help you actually feel different in your body and your days. I've worked in community mental health, crisis spaces, and private practice, so I've learned how to be steady when things feel heavy. I work especially well with Black folx, LGBTQ+ folx, and high-functioning adults who are quietly carrying more than anyone realizes. You won't have to explain your culture, your identity, or your lineage before we can begin. You get to bring your whole self, and we'll go from there together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of being a therapist, I'm an Afro-Latina, a married lesbian, neurodivergent, and someone who believes softness is a form of resistance. I care about liberation in all its forms, and that shows up in how I show up in this work. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ and disability communities, I stand firmly with Black Lives Matter, reproductive justice, disability justice, and the ongoing fight for mental health care to actually be accessible to the people who need it most. I believe healing is political, and joy is too. I think rest is sacred, that our ancestors have things to say if we get quiet enough to listen, and that there's no version of you that needs to be fixed before you're worthy of love. I'm someone who finds the divine in small things, a good meal, a long exhale, a song that makes you cry in your car. If any of this resonates, I think we'd get along just fine.
