About My Clients
I enjoy helping clients who experience depression, anxiety, trauma and chronic stress symptoms, and chronic pain. Clients that are open to holsitic, art-based therapies such as movement, writing, painting, or music would be a good therapeutic match. I also use meditation, tarot, and/or reiki to help provide the client with insight and guidance. I am passionate about working with clients in the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
My Background and Approach
I have a holistic perspective in my approach, which is just a blend of western and eastern modalities. I believe that talking can help temporarily or for surface challenges, but deeply rooted issues benefit the most from using non-talk therapies. I have received special training in Mindfulness-Based stress reduction, DBT, somatic experiencing, and Expressive Arts Therapy. Outside of therapy, I am trained in massage, bodywork, acupressure, and energy healing. Every session is a collaborative experience, so I provide interactive feedback as well as guiding through whichever excercises are the best fit for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the dignity and the worth of the individual. Everyone should be free to express themselves and love who they love openly. I continue to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, Black Lives Matter, and Native Rights.
