About My Clients
I work with teens and adults navigating trauma/PTSD, complex trauma, narcissistic or relationship abuse, depression, and life changes. All are welcome, including military service members and their families, first responders—including 911 operators—pilots and aviation professionals, and BIPOC clients, including Black boys and men, and survivors of sex trafficking. Online evening sessions can fit after work, and once family routines settle. I look forward to helping you take your life back.
My Background and Approach
I’m a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), and Clinical Divorce Specialist (CDSC), with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experience includes telehealth, crisis support, and work with children, teens, adults, and families, including foster and kinship-care settings. I use a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, CPT, IFS-informed strategies, and EMDR as clinically appropriate. Together, we’ll shape treatment around your needs, strengths, goals, and pace. I offer online sessions Monday through Saturday, including late evenings, so therapy can fit around work and family routines. I am authorized to practice in Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, and Washington.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don’t look at you and wonder, “What’s wrong with you?” I wonder, “What happened to you—and what helped you survive?” Your experiences may shape how you see yourself and move through the world, but trauma does not define who you are. You are more than what has happened to you. I believe therapy can help you understand your story with compassion, recognize your strengths, and make room for healing and possibility. I strive to honor your culture, identities, values, and lived experience in a welcoming, collaborative, nonjudgmental space.
