About My Clients
Angie serves people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life challenges, relationship issues, etc. Most clients are perinatal mothers who are experiencing difficulties due to physical and social changes surrounding new parenthood, people experiencing infertility or pregnancy or infant loss, or parents with young children trying to establish new, healthy patterns for family interaction.
My Background and Approach
I am leveraging my experience as a perinatal health professional and psychosocial educator to specialize in reproductive and perinatal mental health. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, extensive training in Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Narrative Therapy. I am Perinatal Mental Health -Certified, I am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional, a Certified Trauma Professional, and a perinatal bereavement specialist. I partner with clients using a trauma-sensitive approach and my interpersonal style is warm, empathetic, and down-to-earth. I hold space for people facing depression, anxiety, or relationship issues, and I specialize in perinatal mood & anxiety disorders, parent-infant attachment, parenting, perinatal relationship & role transitions, birth trauma, infertility, and pregnancy or infant loss.

Angie’s interpersonal style is warm, empathetic, and down-to-earth. At times, she may even use a little laughter and humor in session!
