Life can be difficult sometimes. It can be so stressful and overwhelming, especially these days. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, grief, or just everyday stressors, we can work together to discover a happier, healthier you! My goal is to help my clients feel supported, empowered, validated, and appropriately challenged in their therapy journey.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor, and I specialize in anxiety, grief, stress management, and life transitions. I utilize a client-centered and humanistic approach. I approach therapy as a collaborative experience with a focus on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. I have been in the mental health field for over 9 years and opened my practice in 2020. I help my clients to accept and cope with the feelings and challenges they experience to live a happier, more fulfilling life. Most clients see progress a month or two into treatment, depending on frequency of sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe at the end of the day we are all human beings who have our own struggles, both big and small. I am a huge advocate for affordable health care and the mental health awareness movement. I believe that we all have the power to change and grow personally. I believe in this scary and uncertain world we live in, there is still so much beauty and moments of pure joy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
